About Us

Photo of shop The Winnie the Pooh Sop is situated about 100 metres north of Canterbury Cathedral's main entrance in the popular 'King's Mile' district of mainly independent shops.

The Winnie the Pooh Shop has been trading at 19 Orange Street since 2000 and has become a real favourite amongst shoppers and visitors alike! The first Winnie the Pooh book, 'When we were young', was published on November 6th 1924, followed by 'Now we are six', 'Winnie the Pooh' and 'House at Pooh Corner'. The rest, as they say, is history. Since Disney bought the copyrights to Pooh about 25 years ago, Pooh has become an international superstar! At the Pooh shop we try to keep a balance between the more traditional 'classic' Winnie the Pooh and the bright modern Disney style Pooh.

The shop is bursting at the seams with all sorts of interesting Pooh merchandise, alongside which you will also find a selection of Beatrix Potter and Paddington Bears. We have far too many different items to try to list here so you will just have to come and see for yourself, or better still, place your orders here on our website!
